Wwise Demo Reel 2020

Thank you for taking the time to check out my reel!

In the video, you will see how I made use of the Wwise Adventure Game to reimagine the soundscape, implement newly created sounds via Wwise, debug my implementation and finally test the outcome.

Some key points:

  • ~230 custom foley sounds recorded, designed and implemented.

  • Realtime Parameter Controls for emitters

  • Gain staged in a single Reaper project prior to importing into Wwise.

Huge thank you to Leonard from School of Video Game Audio for the support and guidance.

Grant and Gronk.

A fun little project spun up for a game jam with all custom music and SFX.
Inspired by “The Sound of Music”, this hybrid-orchestral suite has several parts, coming to its triumphant (and very dramatic) conclusion as the credits roll.

The Vimeo video attached shows the full playthrough but here, it is playable (PC):

Divinia Chronicles (2020/2021 Update)

We were commissioned to create two new pieces of music to add to our Divinia Chronicles suite (which started way back in 2008!)

Aeternam Corruptionem was created for a showcase boss battle between an eldritch horror boss and the player

A brief look inside…

I really enjoyed writing this piece.
The goal was to create a theme in the same vein as Paramount/20th Century Fox, but still retain a unique flavour.
To do this, I used chains of Dominant Substitutions.

Reimagining a classic.

This cover was synced to the original FMV for the Mako Cannon firing cinematic in FF7 (1997).

The focus here was to bring the “lens” out of the mix as the camera pans back, where suddenly we have this wall of terror (just as I heard it in my head in 1997).
